Welcome Back with Chalkboard Books and Green Apple

Hello, Redwood Community!

Hope your summer was rejuvenating and relaxing. We are here to help you kick those gears back into action for the school year starting with an amazing team of PTA board officers and volunteers who have lined up a full year of events and programs for students, staff and families so remember to register if you are new or sign in and update your student details here.

Meanwhile, bookmark this blog page if you don't want to miss a beat on the start of school activities marked on the Calendar. Remember to register/join to join our PTA (and pay dues online) so that you can sign up to receive important communications, complete your directory information, access the online directory and content website pages and make the annual donation to fund all your beloved PTA programs for the Redwood community and make payments conveniently for all the after-school clubs, field trips and events.

Your PTA works hard to spend your PTA donations to fund and organize teacher grants, student recognition programs, staff appreciation and luncheons, parent orientation and education workshops, school-wide field trips, events and activities open to all students such as lunchtime Intramural sports, Club 47, Garden club, Spelling Bee and grade-wise socials, vibrant community events in Fall and Spring and more!

Additionally, Redwood PTA seeds new clubs and sponsors numerous participant-only-funded clubs like the Redwood musical. We are always looking for parent volunteers to help us us start new programs or lead existing ones so stop by at the PTA table during schedule pickup or meet us at the PTA Welcome coffee. You can meet your SEF representatives, Club chairs, field questions and drop off donor checks all at the same time.

Lastly, Saratoga Education Foundation needs your continuing support to advocate for and to fund educational opportunities for all of our kids that wouldn't be in our district's budget otherwise.

We are so proud of our Redwood community and grateful for your generosity and time in making this school year a memorable one for all of us. Go Griffins!
